My recent message

I thought I would post my recent message about respecting the site rules here - for those that have not recieved it or are newer and havent yet posted.

This message is being sent to all members of Our Spiritual Home that have posted at least once.

Firstly I would like to welcome our newest members, it truly is great to have you here.

Secondly, and unfortunatley I have no choice to refer all members to the site
rules, which can be found by clicking the following link:

Please could you all reply to the rules post stating that you have read, understood and will abide by them.

This is following an incident that has now been resolved, that involved a
now banned member using the PM system to not only blatantly advertise a
new site but also to approach members to become staff at that site.

To those that recieved this message - can I personally apologise for any
discomfort or annoyance it has caused you and assure you that this
behaviour will not be tolerated at OSH. -

All members can advertise the link to there site in both the profile fields and in the
signature area of all posts. Once a member has reached 20 posts they can
ask for there site to be included in the Link section of the forum also
- I feel this is more than fair and would not want to restrict this any
further, but will if I feel that any of the above features are being
abused.

We are all here to share what we know and grow and learn
together and many members are also members of various sites and know
each other from different areas of the web and even 'real life' and are
of course free to choose where they spend their valuable time. It is
ultimatley common decency to abide by the rules of the board you are
using, and I thank the 99.9% of you that do this.

So with the unpleasantries over could I please ask you to welcome your newest Mage
(moderator) Lynn, I am sure you will agree that she is a very welcome
addition to the team.

I thank you for being here and do regret having to bring this to your attention and hope that this will not happen again.
