Easter
Easter to some be the most important annual religious feast of the Christian calendar year. According to Christian scripture this be the day Jesus was resurrected from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. It is commonly celebrated on Easter Sunday. This is two days after Good Friday.
How the day came to be set goes to the Council of Nicaea . The Council was Christian Bishops that met with Roman Empire Constantine in A.D. 325 . It is from this meeting that the date for Easter was set. Easter is the first Sunday after the Full Moon following the Vernal Equinox. The Vernal Equinox occurs twice a year, when the tilt of the Earth’s axis is inclined away from not towards the Sun. The center of the Sun being in the same plane as the Earth’s Equator.
For some the resurrection of Jesus (Which Eater Celebrates) is the foundation of Christian faith. The resurrection established Jesus as the powerful Son of God and is cited as proof that God will judge the world with righteousness. In the act of resurrection God has given to man a new birth into a living hope to walk in a new way of life.
Easter is linked in many cultures for the Jewish it be Passover. In Egyptian it is the departure of the Israelites. In the Christian Gospels we think on the Last Supper. This is said to be the last meal Jesus shared with his 12 Apostles and Disciples before his death.
We all have our ways of celebrating in our own hearts and minds. The day of Easter Sunday be a day of contemplations and of thanks for the life we have. A day of “Breaking Bread” with family and friends for some. A day of Religious service for other’s where Jesus Resurrection from the Crucifix is
Embraced as a new time of hope for the World. Or to the more recent and “Child Like” innocence of the day that being the Easter Bunny that brings forth Chocolate Eggs and Bunnies for the Children.
What ever Easter be to one, be it a blessed and love filled day in one’s hearts and minds and very SOUL.

Easter blessings are God's gift of love
He sent Jesus to us from heaven above
To give peace from sorrow and strife
And help us endure the storms of life.
Easter blessings will always prevail
God's promise to us will never fail
His word will forever remain true
Jesus came to earth for me and you.
Jesus gave His life on Calvary's tree
With hand held out Jesus said, follow me
Because this is the way it was meant to be
His death made Easter blessings free.
Jesus, God's son, is waiting in heaven above
God's Easter blessing was given out of love
And Jesus is standing with gates opened wide
Take Him as your Savior and step inside.
