My cousin

I don't really know where to put this thread so please feel free to move it if you want to Helen!
I just found out that my cousin is pregnant She is due in October.
But she is diabetic. I knew that diabetic pregnancies could have complications but I didn't realise how risky it really was. Apparently, she has to have the baby in September as the longer she is pregnant, the more complications there could be. She had her first scan yesterday, and as from the next scan, they will be every 2 weeks cause there is a high risk of the baby having a heart problem.

If anyone could send love or protection or something like that, I would really appreciate it.

But I do have one reservation about asking this. My cousin is very religious, she still belongs to the same religion I was brought up in. I know that she will have her own faith, she will believe that god will look after them.
So is it wrong for us to send protection, love, etc, if this goes against her personal beliefs?
I really want to help and I feel that this would, but I'm really not sure if it is right to send to her?

Congratulations! I just found out my sister inlaw is expecting her 3rd in Oct too lol!!

As for her faith - would she not accept the healing do you think? Maybe for now we should send love and light and protection from the angels instead of reiki or any other healing, so that we dont cause any offence.....what do you think?

Sending love and asking angels to look after her for her highest good would be acceptable I believe.
I think its ethical to ask her permission to send healing though.

Best not send healing then as I'm not sure what she'd make of it. Cause she lives quite far away, and we have such different lives, we are not very close and do not speak often. It's not that we dont love each other, cause we do. But for me to speak to her for the first time in ages and say...congratulations, can I send you healing? It might be a bit weird for her

Hmm, not sure, but to me, all religions that look to the light are all the same. I think sending prayers and positive thoughts for her and the baby should be acceptable? To me, everything is connected, no matter how we look at it and our thoughts don't really matter. The light works in its way and when we call upon it, we're calling upon the good, the White, God, Great Spirit, or whatever you want to call the goodness of the universe!

But either way, sending lots of love her way, don't think she can argue with that one!

I agree with you Ane, I'm sure positive thoughts and prayers are fine by her. I think that there are many similarities between what we and she believe, but whereas we (or certainly I) believe that angels and passed friends and relatives look after us, my cousin believes that it is god as she does not believe in an afterlife.
I totally believe though that we all pray to the same place, its just that we give it a different name, or something like that.

I have a dear friend that is a bad diabetic and she has had 2 very healthy children...although the pregnancies were not easy at all, it all turned out ok. She took a little while to recover, but the babies did great!

The PURE WHITE LIGHT see's no bounds in faith. It is that Univeral Light that from God to some and Light simply to other's. Its the intenions it's given in that shows that path to healing.

Too I be told that if one does not want the healing to come forth to them then they do not take that in.

I had three not fun at all pregnanices and I have three children that are just fine....Ligit to her and the baby to come.

I'm not sure how she is to be honest Helen, I havent heard from her for a while, I got that info through my mom who sees her fairly often.
Thanks L'angel and Lynn for the reassurance....as long as the baby is ok I'm sure my cousin will be fine with taking a while to recover...she has family nearby to help her.

I've just had news that my cousin gave birth to a little girl at 11pm last night.
I have no more details as yet

My cousin got pre eclampsia and the baby was born over a month early, but weighing in at over 8lb!

They are both still in hospital at the moment.

Thanks to you both they are both still in hospital at the moment and the baby is on a glucose and saline drip but they are ok and hoping to be home by the end of the week. I dont have permission to post any of the photos but I could probaby pm some to those who want them

WOW that is good all went well. I had all three of mine early too and all around 8 lbs. I was enduced as they were TOO BIG lol.

All the Light we put aroun them worke out she is blessed with a child.
