What is Wicca

This is just a basic write up.

Wicca was steamed from Paganism by Gerald Gardener in the 1950's.
It is governed by the Three Fold Law and the Wiccan Rede 'An it harm none, do what ye will'
Wiccans celebrate the eight sabbats of the year and the Moon Phases, mainly the Full and New.

Although most people class wicca as a religion, I see it more as a tradition and a journey of self discovery.

iam very intrigued by it - difference between wicca and witchcraft would be great to start with!!

Basically Witches are people that follow the magical craft, but are not followers of Gardeners practices persay.
there is confusion as most Wiccans call themselves Witches as well, but not all Witches class themselves as Wiccans.
I am a Witch and not a Wiccan, I find wicca to be very rule orientated and very pro hetrosexual, to the point where it is almost homophobic.

Wicca does influence all aspects of Witchcraft though.
